Today Netflix announced that almost all of their subscribers will have unlimited movie streaming capability through it’s Watch Now service.
About a year ago Netflix started offering movie streaming credits to subscribers in addition to its traditional DVD’s by mail services – called “Watch Now.” The number of streaming movies you could get was limited to a number of hours corresponding to your DVD plan. If you were paying $16.99 for Netflix’s 3 DVD at a time plan, you could get up to 17 hours of free streaming movies that you can watch instantly on your PC or connected TV.
Starting today Netflix subscribers on all plans (except for the most basic $4.99 plan) will be able to stream unlimited movies. There are no additional charges for unlimited hours – essentially you can stream as many movies and shows as you want from their library.
When Watch Now first launched, Netflix made about 2,000 movies available for instant viewing. Since then the selection of movies and shows has been growing exponentially. Right now Netflix has over 6,000 DVD titles and shows available for live viewing and will be expandng that even more in the future.

If you haven’t signed up with Netflix, right now is the best time to do it – they are offering a 2 week free trial so you can try out the instant movie service at no charge.
